As some of you may be unaware, John sadly passed away this week

My sincere condolences to the Family of Halifaxjohn, I met and socialised with him many times and regarded him as a Friend, he was a really nice guy and a 100% Fax Fan, I shall certainly miss him on my visits to the Shay.Sleep well John , my friend.Ian.

All I can do is echo Ian's words, John was a true gent, my thoughts go out to his family at this time. RIP my friend.

Dad died on Wednesday after a very aggressive cancer took a severe stranglehold of him.



His Fax friends were a big part of his life but he was a private man. Sorry to anyone who didn't know that he was poorly but that was the way he wanted it.



Me and my brother Paul will very much miss our Sunday afternoons with Dad.



Come on The Fax after two great wins this weekend, top four looking back on.

I never met John, but was hoping to finally meet him at The Shay over the summer.



He was a real support to me and my family whilst we were going through the treatment for my daughter, always asking how she was getting on.



A true gent, sorry we never met face to face. I hope your suffering was minimal, my friend.

Really sorry to hear this news. Had many a duel with him on here but never took anything personally and I am sure/hope he never did too.
