agree thats good as keep up with matches via there all time.

After finding out the game was off last night i was shocked to say the least and did think there was something going on but after seeing the pitch it was the right decision, there was a layer of water sat on the surface, if theres any more rain between now and Sunday i can't see that being on either!

It only makes sense that we get to use it first. We are the longest serving tenants.

heavy rain forcast again before weekend.

Since when did it have to be bone dry to play RL? Fair enough with soccer because the ball needs to roll but unless the surface water is deep enough to drown in we should just get on with it

One corner of the Recre at Whitehaven is regulary flooded, and the pitch up there can often be heavy underfoot. but the game still gets played.



However, they have longer grass, which will bind the pitch together better, ours is kept very short, which over the winter, does no good at all

Thinking about it, who remembers last year a ball been kicked through and it stopping dead on the wet pitch causing Leroy Joe (I think) to over run it and then allowing one of our players to touch it down, think it was the opening score.

You guys don't think this game will be called off due to the weather do you really hope it isn't.

I heard today, from somebody who works closely with the New Caterers for the East Stand, that they were told yesterday that the facilities will not be available until 2011!



I wonder if food is going to be delivered to the Stand from outside. It's been done before.

Kitchen's looked to be in place when we were been shown around the stand on saturday.

That's what I couldn't understand Brew, but this guy knows the Caterers very well. I wonder if it's to do with the kitchens in the commoners areas.



Oh, and he's a Footy fan, so he does have an interest in the Stadium, so it wasn't just a passing comment.
