Actually judging by reports and on the radio a few did make the trip, I could hear the chants myself.



Again, you can't blame us for the low crowds. I think most honestly will testify that our travelling support is rather good. We just can't be expected to bolster a Barrow attendance on a Wednesday night at 7.30. 1300 is a low crowd no matter how you look at it. Even with no away supporters at all that is basement level for any of the larger Championship clubs especially for a game against credible rivals. The fact that we brought enough to get a chant going audible for the radio suggests there are less die hard fans at Barrow than most of the clubs in this division.

You obviously have no evidence of any irregularities with Barrows finances and clearly don't have the balls to come out with an actual accusation. Hiding behind your pathetic "alleged". And it would appear that not only do the RFL not know about Barrows "alleged" extra payments but their regular checks of all clubs accounts have failed to find any.



I know why Hendo got into dispute with the club, but won't stoop to gossiping about it on here. However he is not renown for being as easy going as say Stanley Gene, now remind me what happened to one of the games most respected individuals at your club?

Once again you prove how out of touch with reality you are. The NRL failed to find any irregularities in Melbourne's finances for years before the big discovery. What speaks the loudest is the RFL imposed transfer ban. Yes, we are in a dispute with Gene; however the RFL have not felt it necessary to ban us from signing new players as they did with Barrow.

In what way are we manufactured? We had a good Director who was able to attract good players to the club. We didn't throw money around and offer ridiculous squad bonuses for wins.

But things like that count on the salary cap and there is no evidence to suggest that Barrow have broken it. Its like people saying that Jamie Rooney is on 80K a year. I dont think they realise how badly paid RL players are for the job they do. You can sign a couple of England internationals for that.

2 players out of 24 man squad came from our academy. I would therefore label us as a manufactured squad.

Des moans about the injuries his squad have suffered this year. Erm, havent we all? Main difference is that we havent gone down the dual registered route to cover for our key players.



IMO the dual registration hasnt really helped many clubs this year.

agree, think only upset the squads when return from SL and then cant play in playoffs so team weakened. all it is for is to help SL teams.

Exactly which is why it is absurd, some people don't realise how well and in some cases players are overpaid too.
