To turn around four days and then beat a week's rested Leigh, away from home? Sheesh - that's a mighty task. Then to go on and beat the best team in this league who will be so fired up after we destroyed them last year?



It would truly be an amazing feat. If we do end up lifting that trophy again it will surpass the efforts of 1987. It may not be as glamorous - but it would surely surpass it.

Well, Daryl Powell looked pretty destroyed after that DG. That's what I meant - we destroyed the victory you thought you had at half time. You're chokers. You choked last year, you choked in the NRC Semi - you choke. But yes, as I said in my post if you read it properly - you are the best team in this league. You just choke when It matters though. I guess you could be called "faux champions".

I think that would "destroy" most teams, no matter how well they had played for 80 mins.

Especially when, on the first occasion it made us championies, and the next it gave us a day out in Blackpool.

powell was dejected so were the team, but has it destroyed us no I don't think it has , to finish top of the league again this season proves that, I'm sure fev will learn from the two defeats and to me they look as determined as ever to go one better this year. I still say fev were the better team in the grand final and had a poor 20 minutes of a great season and were punished. As for the rail cup thought fax were the better team on the night and deserved the victory, although you still didn't beat us in 80 minute

I understand entirely what you're saying. It's easy for me to sound off - i'm a fan of the current reigning champions. The bragging rights are wonderful ammunition for 12 months.

The thing is, in last year's GF & this year's NRC matches, your Fev were so far in front they should have "destroyed" us, but Halifax have something called team spirit on occassions like that.



I am so far away from "loving" RL at professional level at the moment it's unbelievable considering how much of my life I've spent been involved in it. I'm only hanging onto RL through the following of my team, everything else can just be forgotten about. The removal of promotion & relegation & the RFL's idiotic stand on expansion is killing the game throughout.

How could Hudds possibly have been competing in fri night's game at Warrington for example, it was a total joke. Shky replayed an interview their coach recently gave about his team being soft, they once again proved it on sunday, but for the price of £60 you can suffer it again all next season folks....

Sheffield- we know what Fatboy Aston wants and how he hates Fax. I hope Fax smash his team again and let him go and sulk AGAIN!!!

Leigh- Very tough but feel Fax can beat them on their day. A 4 day turn around I think is too much

Fev- Gotta laugh they have been the most consistant team for the past 2 years but have they won games that matter? Have they won the Rail Cup or Grand Final? No so despite being the best team they are chokers up to present and feel If Leigh or fax are the other finalists Fev could lose again going in to extra time.
