Me & my lot will be unavailable on sunday due to a family celebration. I can only see a Fax win, Batley have been unimpressive so far & if what i read that Ben Black is out for a month being correct info, that is a severe dent in their creativity.



I can't wait to see this Johnston kid on drier tracks, watching the footage back on Boots n all from last sunday, how slow did the passages of play look until he ran at the defence ? I must say, it didn't appear slow while at the game !

As Rich says we had a side that was known as the "entertainers" of the division unfortunately that was at a time when the planet including Halifax started to get hit by a big recession the effects of which are still being felt now.



Having a winning or entertaining side will help but it doesn't solve the problem of people being skint and having to watch every penny they spend and when they are working all week a small window to spend it in.



Even when they have some recreation money when they have a family and one day to be with them rugby or soccer has taken second place if all the family aren't into the sport.



If you stopped being so keen to slag off maybe you could figure that out and do something positive for your football team as the same applies to them as your BOD have stated.

I can't remember the last time I saw a Halifax Town game, I am a member of the trust, I'm a Fax Flyer agent and a members of gold club or whatever it's called



My first game was at Thrum Hall in the late 60 's I wasn't one of them 40,000 that saw Fax lose at home to Cawoods

Some Fax fans on here need to wind their neck in stop being derogatory to other teams and fans apart from Bradford, FC Halifax have a place in the Town and The Shay

We are not the best team in the league but on our day we can match anyone

A comfortable win for halifax I think. We are still developing and trying to assimilate all of the (many) newcomers. far too early in the season for us!

Greetings my Fax Friends hope you are all well ?As for Sundays game against the Bullfrogs , im tipping a Fax win , Fax 26 v Bullfrogs 14 , I don't rate the bullfrogs this season and I think Fax will be far to fast and strong for them .Charlie knows .

Very true Bat Lad , after witnessing our Demolition of the Bullfrogs in Round one ,it seems that Fax were a poor team or you just stifled the life out of them

?Whichever the answer it seems the Mighty Leythers Machine just keeps on rolling , another 52 points , BUT Charlie takes nowt for granted , owt can happen , last year Fax were flying high in April , and shot down in May , as Sinatra used to say "That's Life ".

Maybe two teams not playing at their best, however l would say that any team this season will be delighted to get a win at your place. I would also like to bet that, as poor as both might have been yesterday, neither will be far away from the top four come the business end of the season.
