He was on $300k a year at Parra plus other endorsements. Had coaching and other options open to him, so doubt he will travel to the other side of the world for minimum wage. Most high profile Aussies who travel to play in RL in the UK openly admit they do so for the money. Two grand a week sounds about right for someone of Moi Moi's profile.





Just an aside, a Parra fan posted a couple of years ago that they had named their cat "Fui Fui Meow Meow". Made me smile. If he does sign for Leigh, just hope he doesn't end up being a pussycat.

I think the point hes making is someone who's played international RL plus NRL all his career probably has come up againgst a tougher opponent than Dane at some point

Yes I would say so, he could become a cult figure similar Geoff Robinson, the sort of player to help bump the crowds and give a lift to the fans and the team.

If we still had a closed shop to SL, then without doubt a signing like FFMM would be pointless ,but with the new structure everything has changed, IF we have got him then I would hope it might help galvanise enough of the local population to look again at supporting the club



There is always a level of risk involved, but as I posted earlier, the SS Islander mentality is usually one of ' full on ' ,hopefully that is what we will see, IF of course he's coming to Leigh

Personally I think he would rip it up at Championship level and put bums on seats -whoever he plays for. I would enjoy watching him even if it was against Fax as he is 'full on' as some our past southern hemisphere players were and I had many happy hours watching those play. Good luck to Leigh if you have signed him he will add another dimension to what is already a cracking side at Champioship level. Our new signings are currently unknowns but so were Bella Nellar Hagan Ryan Robinson Heugh Kilroy etc and we all know what happened there!!! Looking forward to a cracking season this time for the first time in a long time.
