| A great comeback by the lads. We looked well and truly gone at one stage but showed real character to get the points which we deserved. Hock will get banned but should have been sent off on the day. We now need to show some consistency and not blow it next weekend. Well done to all yesterday including the fans who got right behind the lads. More of the same at Batley please. Up The Fax!

| A game of two halves. Fev made so many mistakes in the first half and we should have scored more. I was worried when Grady didn`t notice Hardman was anticipating the pass to Jonno. He would have scored if he had gone on his own. That would have probably put us out of sight. Then the turnaround and we made all the errors to let Fev back in it. Great character and belief to snatch the two points though. Yet another Muzza forty metre try to win it!!!
Everyone did the business yesterday. Let`s kick on and not let the standard slip against Batley who won`t be walkovers.

| Quote jensenFF="jensenFF"Think the players won that one for themselves. The difference in mental approach was visible to everyone . Did Adam T come through it in one piece? I can't remember if he appeared in the second half If the rumours are true that it's Muzzas last season at fax to me the only player that may be available and could fill his boots is young Jordan Lilley whose career is going backwards between different clubs whilst he is not good enough for Leeds demands. Perhaps if we could see if he would be interested in long term Halifax and rebuild ie like Liam Finn played Championship for years built up a reputation and got his reward at Cas and . Whatever Marshall needs to be planning for who exactly is his next years half back pairing . QLT again proved to be the spark with his break to put Johno in .qlt probably paid for his next years contract with that one break because until then it was looking very bleak for us . Top 4 and financially we survive in tact. It's all a fine line.'"
contract extended until end of 2019 season now.

| Have been watching AdamT more closely during the last 2 seasons and have noticed the many unnecessary penalties he gives away - just like today, often ruining his and the team's good work. If Marshall can target him with regard to improving his discipline we may go from strength to strength. Classy moments from QLT and Muzza today. Great hard earned win today. Well done Fax. Lets hope that we take advantage of our game in hand.

I'm sick to death of that lot, did anyone notice that fat old fev "fan" approach Muzza and the lads as they were celebrating the final try? Thugs off the field and on it when looking at the replay with Hock elbowing Sharp in the head.
Anyway, great resolve by Fax digging in there and getting the win, in what was really a home match for Fev seeing that Blackpool will be their "fans'" annual holiday outing.

| It was a really good result for us and great to see 2/3 "overweight" players have really good games with the other one performing well before having to leave the field through injury. I said after the first game that the only real difference between the teams was Ridyard and Fev looked a totally different team without him but this time we have a game breaker of our own in QLT.
The game really could have gone either way while we should have been out of sight in the 1st half and probably a bit more composure from Grady seals the game but Fev came back in to it well as you would expect any good team to do and to win from that point having gone behind just shows the fight in the team.
The top 4 is finely poised and its funny to see any team who loses fans write off their top 4 hopes yet its clear this season you can probably afford more losses to make 4th than in seasons gone by and I still expect Leigh to make it in there along with Toronto and Toulouse leaving 1 place for us to battle for that is unless we can cause a major upset and go to Leigh and win. Looking at our fixtures we are probably still outsiders and can probably afford losses to London and Leigh but we would have to beat Fev and Toulouse at home not forgetting all the other tough games we will have.

| Once again the usual Fax roller coaster ride with the side trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the second half, only to score a crucial try when down to 12 men. If we can just put in a full 80 mins in, instead of 40!!! Fev had some key players missing and the hit by Tyrer on Homes leaving him playing on one leg, plus Davies going of worked in our favour. Just watched the game on tv and the hit on Sharpy by Hock was a cheap shot. The support for the team off the field was much better than last year and the meet up at Velvet Coaster was twice the number than last year with Directors and fans mingling together-which was great to see.
Disappoinitng to read about two Fax fans being attacked after the game and allegedly ending up with lost teeth, broken noses and black eyes etc.
Onto Batley next which is never an easy place to win. Keep getting behind the team and let's see where it takes us. We are certainly back in the mix.Well done to all concerned both on and off the field.

Could we just clarify if it was RotherhamFevFan or Fevgrinder. I am unsure as to which one it was as the camera angle and Muzza's belly celebration got in the way.
Cheers.

| If we only lose 2 more games, then we'll defo be in the top 4. 3 losses and it probably depends on other results. 4 losses and forget it unless there are some bizarre results elsewhere.

LTD,
A good well earned win for Fax on Saturday.
As for the fan on the pitch, you'd have known if it was me since Muzza's belly would not have hidden mine.
Hope to see you at the Shay later in the year for our next exciting instalment of Fax v Fev.

| Great win in the end we had the game won, lost it then won it again phew!
Fortune favours the brave when we threw the ball around keeping it alive for the Johnno try what a great effort.
Sorry to hear about the attack on the 2 Fax fans after the game we stayed on to watch the Leigh v Toronto game so never saw any Fev fans luckily!

| Maybe a little off thread, however having watched both the Magic Weekend and the Summer Bash, seeing some of the decisions that have been made by the lino, ref and video ref, all I see is that they will not make any decisions that they usually would week in week out in normal circumstances.
Whilst these two events are for the media circus, it seems the officials have been told to be lenient with their whistle blowing on certain points.
Whilst Fax seemed to have the lions share of penalties in the first half, lots of things were 'let go' off side, flops , sly digs, back chat, etcetera, ( not only in the Fax game) in the hope that a few people who may have fallen over the televised games whilst channel hopping will see a game that is more akin to american football without the padding and take an interest.
Taking the Hock incident as just one example, h was put on report, for what could have been a serious incident, and would merit a red card, whilst Tyrer gets 10 minutes rest for a puny 'slap' in the words of the commentators.
A final note before you all have your say, Fax managed to grab victory from the jaws of victory, well done boys bodies on the line, playing for the shirt and each other.
