I think it will be a very tough game and a close one. I'm going for Fax 22 Batley 16. Ben Kaye to continue his try scoring run and score from a 1 yard break

Batley always raise their game against us and there is the small matter that they are in a relegation dogfight. I don't see this as an easy win. I think a few of our busted players will be rested and those coming in will need to step up to the plate. If we match their enthusiasm then our current confident form should see us through to a 28 12 win.

Batley will be up for this one after the Kearasaurus gives his traditional underdog speech. On form we should win easy but im going for a 10 point win but Batley will see a very different team to the one that beat them at the mount.

Checked their results. They are no easybeats. I don't think we need to rest players. Get the 4th spot secured first.

Batley have pushed some good teams and with our record v them they cannot be taken lightly. Can see a first half tussle but finally pull away 2nd half

Yes another tough game as others have said, in addition they are still too close to the bottom end not to give it a real go.



Having said that how scary it becomes will be down to us, if Fax have the right heads on the scoreboard should take care of it's self with a home win.



If not it will be a lot closer with either side taking it.

We could do with amassing as much points as possible against Batley & Doncaster as it's likely going to come down to points difference.

Touch wood we should be ok. You cant see Sheffield improving their points difference too much with their run in and with them and Fev to play each other and also one of Bradford and Leigh each just winning those 2 games should be enough. Just as a measure of how good our defence has been this season that despite losing 5 more games than Bradford we have only conceded 40 points more than them. Ive been saying for quite a bit of the season that I think we are comfortably the 3rd best team in the division, we just need to prove it in our remaining games.
