Nozzy I can see you are a deep thinker,I admit maybe Mickey Higham would get into our team but he turned us down years ago as for Emmitt I disagree the guy is overweight doesn't look fit never breaks the defensive line and is no ball player.I haven't made the comparison from next seasons team because you can't comment on guys who have not played for you yet,as for Ridyard I don't rate him I admit not a bad goal kicker but he's slow and is an average half give me Murrell every day.I look forward to our games next year.

Emmitt averages 60 minutes as a prop week in week out. To say he is overweight or unfit makes you sound silly. His fitness is his best characteristic. For me he was our Player of the Season last year and regularly breaks the defensive line.



If you're happier with Murrell and we are happier with Riddy then I guess both sides are satisfied. I do rate Murrell, classy player. I rate Manning too but personally wouldn't swap either for what we have currently.



We don't play each other for 4 months yet though so plenty of time left for arguing before we see what happens on the pitch

A lack of real quality around at the moment. I just dont see where all Sheffields and Fevs players are coming from. Fev will have decent halfs in Thackery and Craven but a pretty poor pack going on what we know so far.

I think we can match most teams with our pack . We have improved the backs with the addition of Sharp and Smeaton (Miles coming back from injury). HB area has been strengthened too plenty of completion in that area. Cant see many weaknesses in our side tbh. We have a settled side which has been improved. Sheffield are building from scratch so will wait and see how they perform next season. Wheeldon on paper looks a good signing. for me Sheffield lost too many good championship players going fulltime. I agree with GFB not a lot of quality knocking about.

Emmit spent more time mouthing off to our fans while stood under his own posts, than he did contributing to the play off game against Fax. Seeing him fall off Scott Murrell as he went in for a try was laughable. If he was your best - no wonder you struggled in the play offs !!!

We did Ian, although Bentleyman did tend to lead me astray somewhat!

Nozzy, I rate Sam highly and would have him back in Fax's team tomorrow, but in my opinion he isn't a patch on Dane Manning. Up The Fax!

Chicken and egg situation there. If we had played better, (a LOT better) he wouldn't have spent as much time standing under his posts, mouthing off!





Seriously though, our whole team had completely lost it by that game. Without taking anything away from 'Fax, who were excellent and totally dominant, we are/were capable of performing better than we did that day. Even then, we may well have still not been good enough, but we could/should have given you a game.
