Such sad news, but my word I am proud of the Rugby League community. Raised £54'000 now and is still going up!

Still cant get over this and I didnt even know Danny! Great to see 56K raised for his family but sadly that wont go far so if you can help I am sure it will be much appreciated. Hopefully the Club can do something so Dannys name is remembered in years to come especially being from the area.

What about an annual pre season game between Fax and Cougars, with a Danny Jones trophy to play for.

Either all proceeds from the day or at least a collection held, with everything donated to the family.

I see his Just Giving page has had its target revised from a rather modest £1,000 to a more ambitious £100,000. Still about £36,000 to go last time I looked, so keep donating.

As a mark of respect tomorrow King Cross Park under 11s plus the coaching staff will be wearing black armbands. The No 6 shirt will be retired for this one game.

King Cross was one of Danny's teams.
