| Quote Homer_J_Simpson="Homer_J_Simpson"Two elbows, straight into Barlow's head.
You are aware of where the elbows are on a human body aren't you?
Dane Manning should consider himself very lucky to get off with 10 games, that's without doubt the dirtiest act I've seen on a Rugby field in 30 years of watching.'"
You need to watch more RL matches then. Ever watched SOO? Ever watched Tim Street FFS? Get over yourself pal.
It looks fairly bad. Manning's prior form won't have helped and certainly would have contributed to the 10 match severity. But the faux outrage of the Leigh fans is beginning to tarnish their once respectable and knowledgeable reputation. They're sounding more like Wigan fans every day. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree does it?

| 5 games for the tackle on Barlow is fair enough but 5 for starting a fight while walking off the pitch???
Seen players do that loads of times come on 2 games is enough for that 7 in total but 10???
All these Leythers saying it should be more are being very biased imo

You obviously haven't watched that much rugby league in the last 30 years then.
You can't have seen Mick Cassidys elbow on Adrian Morley when he played for Leeds or the Terry Newton one where he fractured Sean Longs eye socket. They were dirty acts.

| He got 5 on a charge with a recommended range of 4-8 and 5 on a 3-5. So the late hit was deemed lower end of the grading in terms of matches (with previous taken into account) and maximum for the fight.
Now with the fight the thing that has done him the most damage is he ran behind the officials and restarted the brawl.
The shame of it is that this incident along with Sam's antics at your ground has tarnished what was 2 great games of rugby.
Think people need to calm down and see fault in both sides behaviours over our 2 games this season.
Finally as rhino says let's see if we can face each other in a grand final as these teams are the most capable of playing top rugby based on the season so far.
Off to get back in my hopefully not too rose tinted glass house.

I hope we don't meet again this season as there is far too much bad blood, somehow I don't see us in the Grand Final anyway so it won't happen unless we get you in the semis.

| I don't know about seeing the elbows going to the head but has anyone noticed since Leigh started to get a winning run how this has definitely gone to their head and they suddenly know everything about everything.
We didn't have this approach when Fev were the best side or from the Eagles when they won back to back GF's, respect for Leigh on the way down.
What goes around comes around and it usually doesn't take long.

| Neil Hudgell, the Hull KR Chairman & Leading lawyer was recently fined £1000 after calling The RFL Match Review Panel "Unfit for Purpose".
Surely he could'nt have been referring to the same panel who today fined James Roby a whopping £300 after finding him guilty of a dangerous tackle.
And he certainly could'nt have been referring to the same panel who last week fined Jamie Peacock a mind boggling £300 after pleading guilty to repeatedly punching an opponent. The following day Mr Peacock discussed the incident live on BBC Television after being introduced to the viewers by Mark Chapman as "The Carl Froch of Superleague", ha ha ha.
Neither player was suspended.
Lesser players are not so leniently dealt with.
Lesser clubs are not so leniently dealt with.
As Gilbert & Sullivan wrote in The Mikado...."Let the punishment fit the crime"
It seems to me that The RFL think that the greatest crime of all is Not To Be In The Top Four Of Superleague

| Maybe fax4life, I certainly am not counting our chickens yet either. It's been 10 years since we won a play off game and in that time came very very close to being in champ 1.
We are doing great this year in all aspects of club but long way to go yet to reach the aspirations our board is showing again.
Don't tar all fans and a whole club with a few wind up merchants nothing but respect for fev, fax and sheff for what they have done over last few years in this competition and I hope to see a few of us making inroads into the super league lot over net few years but it's going to be tough.
