Not sure whether I am feeling disappointed or devastated.

At half time even though Leigh had scored in the last minute I remarked how poor they were, how wrong, however we still should have won.

No sour grapes,

First point

Two very poor refereeing/line and decisions, as regular readers will know I have never every said a bad word about referees, often defending them (and that is not a joke) but today, my goodness, one of their tries in the corner, left hand side, they knocked on, we knocked on, they picked it up and we scored. Another try, why didn't the linesman see it was easily forward?

Second point, as regular readers will know I have never criticised our coaching staff, so much so that I have been accused of having my head in the sand, and I won't start now, I just ask, forgetting bad calls from the officials, which coach did a better job at half time?

Third and final point, I could go on, Leigh came to fight, we were well up at half time so why get drawn into it? I know it's difficult for players to stand back and ignore the provocation, and it's also up to the officials to spot what's going on, but we fell into their trap.

As I say no sour grapes but I hope we never turn into a team of thugs simply to win.

On the whole as I said at the start of this post, I'm not sure whether I'm disappointed or devastated, but I'm still a FAXFAN.

I was in the East Stand and saw I, don't like that sort of thing at the end of the day it comes back to bite you. Just like the clowns singing Barlow Barlow what's the score, Leigh were able to come back with the same song.

Now now don't be such a bad loser we have a good time when we go away that's why we have the best following in the league.

Well there were a few idiots from both sets of fans today , I put it down to the footy being on and people turning out very early and maybe a few had a few too many, nothing serious though .

Unfortunately, there was only 1 idiot coach or us Fax fans would have enjoyed today but he does seem intent on stopping us enjoying anything rugby related until we compete against Illingworth, Elland and Siddall A in the Halifax Supplementary Cup

Total bollox, fat toothless moron in south stand jumping about goading elderly fans who were there for the rugby. Utter scratter of the worst order. I thought it was about rugby, clearly not for some, it's dicks like him who end up causing massive kickoffs in stands. He was that hammered he could hardly keep his eyes open. There were young kids there, mine included, he was in the wrong pure and simple but then you get others backing him up. I like most Leigh fans but this upper unfortunately tarnishes you all.

Umm I agree with most of what you say but an elderly lady was shoved around and swore at by a small group of Leigh fans on the steps who had clearly had a few too many. Banter I don't mind but there fronting up was beyond that....

It seems the provocation started earlier in the week with some of his ex colleagues ringing him at home

yes we played great in the first half, Leigh had a kick up the backside and came out a different team, but cast your minds back 12 months, Leigh came to the Shay after playing a SL side in the Cup, got hammered 60-6 if I remember. Some strange tries, poor play by us, but I did not welcome the beer shower from the Leigh "fans"Barrow next week chins up Lads.

Harrison out coached by Rowley again. Who else would send a buffoon on like Barlow with the express intent of stopping Halifax play by engaging in thuggery and fighting? It totally derailed our attack. Also at half time I fully expected a massive Leigh fight back. If ever we are 24 points down I NEVER feel like any kind of comeback is on the cards. OK, I did witness such a fight back a couple of year ago (away at Leigh ironically) but we are currently so predictable. The first half was exquisite - totally thrilling. The second half was an unspeakable car crash.



I have never felt so down after a match as I did after today's and I saw must of 2003's matches. Effing annoying!!!
