Looking like a must win game after Londan beat Seagulls tonight.

Squad looks strong to me. Fax by 12.

I reckon 32 points will be needed for a top 4 place at the end of the season, possibly 30 if it's really tight for 3rd to 6th. We've already lost 5, so we can only afford 2 more losses, possibly 3 through to the end of the season if we want to be in the middle 8's again.



Put another way, we have to win 11 out of the next 13.



We can't contemplate losing this one if we want a successful end to the season.

Dave I'm predicting Fax will lose another 4 games maybe 5 before the season is over,you have to play Batley, Bradford, Leigh,Dews,and Swinton away yet,your last 6 games of the season look difficult.

BIJ,you know my tipping well,but I have to be right at some time, as well as the difficult away games you have to play London, Fev,Sheff at the Shay, and Fev at Blackpool,there are no easy games in the League,teams won't fear playing Fax after your defeat against Swinton.

I cant believe Salty still cant make the squad, he made a mistake and has been punished, but would surely be a better option either at FB or on the wing than any other player.



I also finally got around to watching the highlights from the Swinton game and from what I saw it looks like Sharp was made the scapegoat where as both Greenwood and Smeaton both somehow managed to keep their places. There is only the try with the flip around the back pass where Sharp could take a big part of the blame but that must have almost been undefendable. The other tries looks like either major blunders by others, Greenwood twice, or bad reads inside Sharp from Smeaton and murrell forcing Sharp to move over to cover. Sharp, Potts and Salty have the potential to be a really exciting back 3 IMO.

Sounds like it will be Morrison's last game in charge of Dewsbury as well so it could be a case of one last performance for him or give him the big FO.

What exactly has Salty done- I thought he was injured ? I agree though he would add value.

I felt after the Sheffield game away that both Muzza and Smeaton looked weak on that side and ir showed again against Swinton. Unfortunately muzza is lacking pace in the threequarters now against younger faster men.(still a class rugby brain though) Sharpe just hasn't hit his straps with us and looking at the competition for places is likely to be on his way at some point I fear.

I sincerely hope your predictions are as good as my selections for the fantasy rugby team(69th out of 76! )

more concerned why Brandon Moore not in the squad, he has been fantastic for us since he came in the side. Apparently rested for Lock Lane but not selected for dews bury. He has been head and shoulders better than maneely, some of RM's choices baffle me unless he is seeing something different to everyone else

Agreed, although I thought Maneely had a good game against Lock Lane(He should do though shouldnt he?) he simply has not been good enough this year and Moore provides a much better option.

Way things are going the Blackpool game is now looking massive, Batley have gone right off and with a bit of luck will keep on the downward spiral. Though our form is not good we still have a very good chance of making the top 4 regardless of what Charlie believes though May is a real make or break month.

Norman ,it's only my opinion, as you say though,your game at Blackpool is very important, Fav played very well yesterday even with the injuries they have,its looking like Leigh, London ,and Bradford certs for the top 3 ,leaving Batley, Fax , Fev, and maybe Sheff for 4th spot,I think Batley are OK at home but a bit uncertain in away games,so for me Fax have to target Fev .
