Whether its a climb down or a clarification we can all make our own minds up, at best this was a wakefield cock up with a poorly thought out and very poorly timed statement, at worst this was an attempt at segregation with a spectacular climb down, either way well done Richard wright for being a voice for his own clubs fans and getting the situation sorted.

Let me give you an analogy. You try to explain something (that seems straight forward) to a child but he doesn't understand. Then you try explaining in slow more clear and concise manner, obviously misunderstanding the Childs ability to absorb information. Does the situation sound familiar?

I can't believe that any of you except forrad (and possibly Fully) could actually think that Dicky Wright has any influence over anything, let alone the policy regarding what Wakey decide about who stands where. Dicky probably knew that and hence he wrote by letter (not e-mail) to James Elston instead of phoning him!



As always he is like the sneaky policitian, grasping onto anything that can try to make him look good to his constitutents, so you all forgot all his mistakes and failures to deliver.



The only thing that has happened is the initial notice wasn't as clear as it could have been. Still, if that buys Dicky some more time from your fans, all the better for us, as with him in charge you are being held back from being the club you could be, whilst the upwards improvement at our club since Glover came in is there for all to see.

He hasn't failed to deliver - you will see this month.

Good for you if thats the case, but he has failed to deliver for longer than Ted did at our place re a new ground. Given his failure to meet previous deadlines for updates to be made , I would be suprised that if there is due to be one this month, it actually takes place this month.



My final point is, it all depends on what the announcement is. If you have sold the Ground then that is certainly a step in the right direction, but if it is conditional on OPP for the development on Wheldon Road being passed first, then at best that means you can't start for sometime yet, and at worst could mean the whole deal falls through. It also depends on how much you are actually going to receive through the sale as to whether you have any shortfall to try and plug.
