In my limited historical knowledge, I would go Rudder, but then again, I would like to be as "crap" as him and had his career! Bad timing for us I think.



Matt Whitaker in the recent past seemed to have least natural talent, though then again, he has made a career playing the game - I aint! Then again from the stands I never missed a tackle or dropped a ball!



And an honourable mention to Paul Newlove - this was one of those occasions where every single person knew he was well past it and wouldn't make a serious contribution and we were all right, though he was class before he rolled up at Cas - that said, that's most people's first negative reaction that whoever we sign, so it was going to be proved right sometime!

That's the name that sprung to mind for me... well the name didn't so much as spring to mind as the recollection of a player who had 3 appearances and look well out of his depth. The name took a bit of thinking of.

Me too! I still remember the 92 semi final, where he ran 90 metres and then as he got tackled, he 'passed' the ball back 50 metres!

Some of the selections so far suggest we need a clear distinction between worst player (based purely on ability) and worst signing (based on actual performance or what their level of ability/inability cost). Ryan Sheridan, Paul Newlove were bad signings wheras Harbrecht appeared to be a bad player and he gets my vote although there are probably worse who I've forgotten.
