Either way, I can't see why we would want to put ourselves in a position where more disciplinary issues and off field antics can take place. Thing's are bad enough anyway

He was sacked from Hull, went to Dewsbury, Left there to go to Crusaders, when they went pop I think thats when he ended up at York.



Does some good stuff, but an utter liability off pitch who seems to think he has demi-god status for being an RL player (workmate used to live near him and said when he signed for Hull that he was pretty well permenantly in the locals, ed and giving it the big I am.

He's been positively underwhelming for York all season. With his ability he should be putting in far better showings than he has. Not a worthwhile signing in my opinion, but anyone's better than McGoldrick...

I remember a certain player coming from Hull K R to Fev and everyone in S/L saying he was no good He then went on to Wakey who on their forum didnt want him go ask them now if they would give him to some one else. JT will now be in a full time environment with Cas and as a club you have nothing to loose Compare his wages with mcgoldrick who wasn't doing anything for you it's Cas who are the only winners if he's no good he will be gone give him a chance see what happens

With the exception of Ellis, every signing so far is an improvement on the player they will replace:



Webster => Whichever second rower is stuck in the centres in any given week

Shenton => Arundel

Tansey => McGoldrick

Gilmour => Mitchell



Another second rower, loose forward, scrum half and a winger need adding now.

Has the talent but a big question mark over his commitment to be a Super League player.

If he doesn't press the self destruct button, you've got a decent player on your team.

maybe we are setting our sights too high in terms of the calibre of player we all would love to sign. a bottom three side who cant defend or attack with well documented off field problems is not very enticing to potential signings.

Must be why in one of the York match reports I read the other day they gave him a 9/10 and the best player on the field.

Or we're building a squad with depth and getting in players with a lot of utility value and experience to create competition in the backs.

It was his sponsor who gave him M.O.M award it was his best game for the Knights by a long way but most fans think he is lazy and hides during a game.
