Will reserve judgement until Millward has been back for a few weeks but things certainly need to improve and sharpish. Three tough games coming up and we need something from at least two of them.

Fully, yes I have been listening to the man in the street. But the reason for this is it is pretty much the only information I get. The club continue to be terrible at communicating with the fans. I did say in my post that's how I have been made to feel. I am aware this may be unjustifiec, and said as much. But surely something is going wrong when fans feel like this, and I know I'm not alone. Surely a bit of openess will go a long way?

You seem to be in the know, but most fans aren't, this is why a lot of us feel like this.

We are still waiting for the club to tell us CP has left, Club is dire when it comes to dealing with the fans and no one can blame anyone else but the club.

The key for me is the defence... We just haven't got one, especially down the wings.

I know what you mean. So many young British centres are very exciting with the ball in hand, but as soon as they're asked to defend then they don't seem to impress anywhere near as much.



Could be they're just not interested in defending (where's the glory?) Or is it the way that the game is played now? Personally I think it's a little of both. Centres and wingers have the un-enviable task of usually having to do their tackling in either a one on one situation (unlike everyone stood in the middle of the pitch) or when the opposition has an overlap; which means the centre gambles much more than any other player on the pitch; often with dire consequences. The better regarded centres tend to benefit from a quicker, fitter sliding defence and one that doesn't have to carry weak half backs on their inside.

Just like with players, more often than not the club leave it to the team they are going to to announce it.

I can't say I've ever seen that happen; the club the person is leaving will always put out a statement, even if it's not true.



I don't quite understand RW's reticence in this regard - he's shown that he can use the media pretty effectively when wants to, so it seems a shame to keep Cas fans in the dark over things that matter to them.



Reminds me of the Richardson era at WTW to be honest - we regularly got the mushroom treatment from Ted and co.

Cas have done it in the past - just as we have with other clubs. It's usually at the team's (who are signing the player) discretion, as to when the signing is announced/released. If it's going to come out elsewhere and it's happened, what's the point in us releasing a diatribe stating exactly the same thing? Especially when we are thin on the ground in the media department and it's on overload as it is. Waste of time and resources.
