I don't get all the animosity on here, personally as a Hull fan i've always got on with the cas fans and always will. I've had some great times at wheldon road and in the early bath in the old days with the cas faithful without any bother or anything. I've always said cas are my second team and speaking to a lot of Hull fans they say the same thing and feel the same way. IF the allegation of some numpty throwing beer at a young cas fan is true then trust me 99.9% of the Hull fans would be appalled by the guilty party and would gladly distance themselves from the clown.

I think people are getting a bit mixed up but I was stood right behind the sticks about 5-10 steps behind the prick that chucked beer.

1st point is that it was a Hull fan that chucked beer but (and its no excuse as this scumbag needs banning/banging) it was just thrown up in the air and ended up on a few people thats how it caught my eye.

2nd Some Hull fans behind me saw a steward who was stood at the top and told him but he had a look and wondered off never to be seen again.

3rd The Owen thing was about ten minutes after that. I'm not saying something was thrown at him or not but I never saw it and the people around me had no idea what he was kicking off at what I can say is that he never had a bottle/plastic beer cup or anything in his hands to hand to the stewards he did point out to the stewards who had been taunting him but again they walked up had a look and cleared off.



Now I think people like this are scum and should be served life bans but for some on here to brandish me and my family and friends as the same as this scumbag is out of order.

The sensible and good supporters of RL will know and respect that 99.9% of the supporters attending home, or away game, are no different from ourselves. In that they enjoy the game, sing song, banter and spirit of RL in just the same way that we do also. However, every so often there is an absolute minority within the sport who take on board just a bit too much alcohol, sun or 'peer' pressure and make a complete fool of themselves. Whether this happens, before, during, after, in the ground....or out of the ground is irrelevant. We as a sport don't need it, and every action should be taken to get rid of it.



As a Cas fan I would welcome the Hull FC fans to Cas on each and every occasion! The one person who was 'out of order' yesterday, will not spoil my enjoyment of RL.....it will not spoil my enjoyment of future games between Cas and Hull FC.....and it will not spoil the hospitality and welcome that the majority of Cas fans have for all visiting fans.



So, c'mon let's not get bogged down bitching and calling each other names in reflection of the 'Fools of the Past' who may have tried to mar our sport, let's get on with enjoying some good old RL in the spirit in which it was intended to be played, supported and enjoyed!

I'm not a Cas fan and wasn't at the game but why is it that whenever there's any criticism of either Hull club we get some posters coming on here bleating about how many of their supporters go to away games. Big deal. We seemed to manage ok when they both had spells in the lower divison.
