Difficult game, going for Huddersfield 10-24 Leeds

Should be a great game - hopefully Silverwood will keep a low profile and let the game flow



Leeds will have to be on their best form if they are to get anything out of this game

The only way this game will flow is if Leeds are well on truly bossing it. Huddersfield will be messing about in the ruck all afternoon. Silverwood has 2 options - Ignore it e.g WCC or go for a record penalty count.



It will all be won and lost in the forwards and the way the Rhinos forwards my money is definately on a Leeds rout. Kylie, Peacock, Eastwood and Burgess all on form will be too much for Giants.

Should be an absolute cracker, sHudds are in fine fettle and Leeds looked chockfull of renewed confidence. I think this could be THE game of the season so far.

And Leeds don't do that do they lol





Is that just after the Quins game cos i've seen the Rhinos against Crusaders, Wakey and Melbourne so far this season and seen nothing from them to trouble us.

After the Melbourne game, McClennan vowed in the media that we would not be bossed at the ruck again.



On that basis, I would suspect if Huddersfield decide to go down those tactics they might be putting a nail in their own coffin.

He did Indeed. But who says Huddersfield cannot slow Leeds down? Just because Leeds are determined not to be slowed down again doesnt mean they will be successful - esp against a side like Hudds who are good at it. Hudds are big boys there not going to change their game plan just because big bad bluey said it wont work again.



If Huddersfield try and match Leeds for pace - a bit like the old St Helens then they have no chance. Leeds have pacey strong forwards which will just blow them away.

You can get round these things, and McClennan was confident when he said that. I will be suprised if Huddersfield manage to effect the game in their favour by slowing down the play the ball.

Agree and with how Kylie and Burgess were running onto that ball Leeds seem pretty determined for a quick game. Huddersfield forwards will have to be very very good to slow Leeds down, but they will still try.

I think we'll have to be the same mate they have a good pack also!
