Don't know, but rather than winning secondary cup competitions, Wigan would have to go back in time 45 years to have a chance of being the FIRST club to be both the Football and Rugby League champions.

Certainly: these days Wigan seem to specialise in winning once great competitions now entirely subordinate to their respective league competitions.

We were waiting for that one Rogues.well first of all congrats to the town of Wigan and both their teamz on that acheivement.We as Leeds were unlucky to lose to saints in 1972 as Leeds utd beat Arsenal.1969 Leeds utd League champions, 1969 Leeds RL RL Champions.That is the big one.Didn't you know about that?.Gotcha! |

You can add Yorkshire Cricket to that as well, although it was 68 but all 3 held the titles at the same time. |
