Does anyone know if this guy is a 'real' journalist or not?

Are you serious!! Mick is numpty who thinks he is an insider - virtually everything he said about the issues at Bradford proved to be incorrect despite his "I was in on the discussions"!!



Man is a fool

He's commentated on rugby games for years which is broadcast journalism. I don't know if he writes any articles or has a degree in journalism but Rugby League is full of fans and ex-players getting paid to cover the sport in any capacity without even having 'proper' qualifications.

Mick has been putting comments on forums and tweeting for years, some stories are accurate, others inaccurate. I would say he's like Dave "nosey"Parker in League Weekly.

I hope his comment that we've signed Gareth Widdop is one of his accurate stories?

I agree and Mick does have some (I think he lived there for some time) association with Halifax so chances are his source is from that end regarding Gareth Widdop.

He was a Hospital porter at Bradford Royal at one time and did some sort of radio work at the Bulls.

Wasn't he arrested or something after our infamous match winning Try by Jordan Tansey at the Magic weekend?

He wasn't really arrested he was just held to calm down.The lad is devoted to RL and he has matured in the last 7or8 years.I like him

I did a hospital radio commentary with him a few years back. He certainly aspires in that direction. Good luck to him; he is incredibly passionate & knowledgeable about the game, especially the Bulls. I think finds it hard to contain himself at times.

I presume by "real" you mean paid? I have to ask the obvious question. Why do you ask?

He IS a very shrewd and skilful wind-up merchant who loves attention and probably this post dedicated to himself. If people never rose to the bait he would just crawl back under his stone and think of something else to do with his life.
