| 4. Hardaker
2. Jones-Bishop
3. Watkins
15. Delaney
5. Hall
13. Sinfield
7. Burrow
8.Leuluai
31. Lunt
20. Griffin
11. Jones-Buchanan
16. Bailey
25. Ward
17. Kirke, 18. Clarkson, 19. Hauraki, 21. Moore
I'd rather have a doubtful Delaney at centre than a fully-fit Webb at fullback. A week off for Peacock, a chance for Hauraki.

| Quote nantwichexile="nantwichexile"Glad you're not the Leeds coach.
Hardaker should [unot[/u be displaced from FB.......and Ward should not be used as jack of all trades, this time at SH. If a place cannot be found for him at SO or LF then he should start on the bench as somebody to come on as a game changer in one of those two pivot positions.'"
I'm absolutely bloody delighted that you're not.
I said I'm loathe to move him, but we have Ablett out and Delaney doubtful. If Delaney isn't fully fit, who do you suggest plays at centre?
As for Ward, there's sod all difference between stand off and scrum half. Quite how you have the nerve to suggest I'm using him as a jack of all trades and then you say he should play either stand off, loose forward or off the bench I have no idea. If it makes you happy I could always name Sinfield at 7 and Ward at 6? It'd make no difference to how they play but hey whatever floats yer boat.

"Coaches" like you who insist on moving players around rather than giving youth a chance will hasten the death knell of SL. Tut tut. I suggest you read various posts from others as to who might be a choice at LC for this game.
As for scrum half being no different to stand off I look forward to seeing Greg Ingliss at SH.
You know sometimes it's simply better to admit when you're wrong.

| Scrum halves and stand offs are generally the same in RL unlike in Union!! Burrow and McGuire had the same role at leeds for years, 1 played on the left one on the right! Sinny could be named at 6 or 7 and he would still do exactly the same job. The role played by a 6 or 7 is defined by the skills the player has. Now mcguire is named as a 7 but he is playing virtually the same role as if he was named at 6!!
People get obsessed by the number on a players back or where he is named on a team sheet rather than looking what he does on the pitch.

| McDermott mentioned on the video this week that Webb is too good to miss out for the rest of the season, not sure whether he will be back tommorow I would prefer to leave the hardaker at full back

| To be honest, my gut feeling is that injuries or not Mac would put Webb straight back in the side and Hardaker back to centre despite it being blantantly obvious he is a full back. The injury situation has made this easy for him all round.
I personally dont have a problem with this.Webby is still a great player when he wants to turn it on and i cant remember him ever letting us down in big games. We have his services for a few more months so lets get the best out of him.I hope Zaks emergence as a rival cuts out his lathargic attitude to some games though.

Yeah, on this thread everyone has suggested either Delaney or Hardaker for centre. You know why? Because they're in the 19 man squad announced. In what way would leaving out a 34 year old and a 26 year old be restricting youth chances? You want to know why I didn't pick Keinhorst or Chisholm? Well Keinhorst isn't ready to be thrown in at centre and Chisholm is a winger, there isn't a space on the wing, unless you advocate dropping Hall or Jones-Bishop. But the biggest reason I didnt pick either of them is THEY'RE NOT IN THE SQUAD!!! So I'll say it again, who do you suggest plays centre if Ablett is out and Delaney not fully fit?
As for Inglis, that's a stupid comparison and you know it. I see Danny McGuire has really struggled with the transition from stand off to scrum half. Let's put it this way, if Sinfield were named at 7 and McGuire at 6 would they play any differently than currently?

| TBH I don't want Hardaker to be moved from FB but if we've got key players out in positions he could play in and we've got a fit Webb then maybe we should?
Although my biggest worry would be that BM would then keep Webb at FB for the foresable future.
Hardaker has been a revelation a FB!
