Can't believe Newman out injured again. He really makes a difference to us when he's on the field as gives us real punch out wide.. fingers crossed this is the last injury for the lad this season.

He was great at Wakey but was it too soon? Rushed back?

I said it when he injured his hamstring last week that he might need an op that could likely keep him out for 10 to 12 weeks.

Maybe had they done that first time round he would be back soon.

Similar to Phillips at LU.

That kind of injury often repairs itself. Not sure about the ethics of sending an employee for surgery that may not be needed.

I dont think it was a bad tear either just a strain.

Problem with hamstrings is they can feel fine after few weeks, then a 20 stone Fifita jumps on you, and can it’s game over!

Sky reporting it as a dead leg was very odd.

Very surprised he wasn't taken off HIA after copping knees to the head in the act of scoring either. Looked out of it immediately after.

I couldn’t believe there was no penalty in the game and the commentary team didn’t even mention it, he looked to deliberately drop his knees onto the head after scoring to me. What ban did the Wakefield player get for this?
