Let's face it though the lad is steeped in RL and more so Bradford Bulls .He had stuck with them through all the bad times

Mick Gledhill was a character on Total RL that I used to frequent as Northern Exposure.



Mick used to barrack referees to the nth degree when Bradford were still dwindling in Super League.



It got to the point where we tried to get Mick.to go on a referees course - but I'm not sure if he did.



In the end I was banned from Total RL for having the gall to suggest Hull KFC and KR should merge as the city wasn't big enough for 2 clubs.



In the end it seems Mick has done some journalism. But perhaps to the standards that you'd expect Fred West being a Youth Hostelling spokesman.

mick is posting a lot on FB and Twitter he calls himself The Game Caller on Twitter . He does seem a lot more mature than when he used to come on here . he still observes Totalrlfansforum and only comes on when his names mentioned , he doesn't want to blot his copy book for his career in RL media . His hobby horse now is the proposed restructuring of RL comps .He does seem different now from when Bradford started their decline as we were going from strength to strength

There used to be a few esteemed posters from here who used do commentary with him on games IIRC.

He seems to be all over the place at the moment. He's commentating all of the Bulls games for Proper Sport and he's also just started a weekly show with some good guests such as Hardaker & Danny McGuire and he appears to be behind most of the media stuff at Odsal. His passion for the game is great but as some have already posted, he doesn't half exaggerate some stories.

Hope he does a better job than Stupid Smiling Simmo. What a cretin to have associated with the club.

Mick was on FB today walking over to Oldham apparently the M62 was blocked . I wonder if he really was walking all the way over there ?

The Mick Gledhill that I know is a thoroughly likeable chap. Has a flair for the dramatic as well, let's say.



He's probably forgotten more about rugby league that most of us will ever know.
