Agree, Its not really me to boo, but I can sort of understand people doing it. And it isnt very cheap anymore. Think it does boil down to frustration, lots of money being spent, and people thinking they have "paid out all this money and they dont look like there even trying"

I know this is a Rhinos matter, but I think across all sport you will find supporters are a lot quicker to criticise a team for a poor performance than applaud them for a good one. If you look at most threads on blogs and on match reports on local paper websites the amount of comments after a loss tends to outweigh those when the team wins. Unfortunately this seems to be the way. I am obviously not saying this is always the case, but more often than not I think it probably is.

I hope we win tonight. If we win by definition we should have played better. As McD said the most worrying thing about the last two results has been the standard of performance.

As for booing. It's something that I don't do as I don't think I should boo a team that I support, however, I would not condemn anyone that booed at the end of the game. I think the booing at the Huddersfield game was more a show of discontent than abuse. I have been at Elland Rd when the crowd has been far more negative for less reason, I remember the Armfield out chants.

I hope we are all on this board tonight congratulating a great performance and result.

The only thing that matters is the performance, get that right and the result will naturally follow.

Its in the paper but not the YEP wbsite. interview with BMD Basically saying we will turn it around. which is all fair comment but the bit that troubled me was "Mcdermott has changed rhinos style of play, encouraging a more expansive brand of rugby and he is in no doubt that his approach is right".



Suppose he has confidence in his methods which is positive, but this open brand of rugby needs tweeking IMO.

BMD is the type of person that if he believes in something, no matter what the evidence it is failing, he will stick to it until it kills him. Very determined or stubborn? You decide.

Think i would come down on the side of stubborn. good to be determined, but sometimes things need changing slightly, and if there is evidence its failing its just stubborn not to acknowlege it.

At the end of the day Leeds Rhinos are in the entertainment business - if you went to a concert and the singer could not remember the words you would certainly express your anger.



So players are incapable of carrying out basic skills and we should just applaud as if they are playing high level razzle dazzle stuff - this is the real world, if you don't deliver at work would you expect some home truths?



These are highly paid grown men - not kids - they need to understand what customers expect just like any other business.

And that is what's going wrong within our sport, its turning into busineses rather than sporting clubs

Can't make it tonight due to other commitments which is a shame do not remember the last one I missed at Osdal. I will of course be able to see some of the game on TV when I get home and will be cheering the lads come what may. As with other posters would never boo my team but will give them plenty of noise and also think you pay your money an can boo to show dicontent if you like.

I believe we just need awin to get us started so will except it however it comes tonight.

Lawrie perhaps if clubs were treated as businesses and not sporting clubs less of them would get into financial dificulties?
