I watched the game on a recording and i don't mind saying that I fast forwarded at 16-12 fully expecting Manley to go on and win it.

BUT I was wrong!

A good fightback at the end brought a deserved victory to Leeds.



It must be hard to take for the Australians who, despite knowing that they could turn people on their heads in tackles and lead dangerously with the elbow and yet still not get 10 minutes or suffer a sending off, coupled with having their own Klown as a ref, still lost.



Can anyone please furnish me with data about how many Aussies have been sin-binned or sent off playing our sides at domestic and national level in this country?



I can remember a few of our players getting sent off, but I can't remember an Aussie.

I call it bending over backwards.

But I am prepared to be persuaded otherwise.

As much as I dislike Leeds

As much as I thought I should support Manly before the game



I couldnt help but cheer for the Rhinos tonight when the game got going

Me too, but I was swept up in the emotion of the game, I joined in, much to the amazement of my mates. I don't even stand up for the dirge normally.

Well done Leeds from a Wolves supporter. You demonstrated that SuperLeague can mix it with the best. We now need to kick on and transfer that missing ingredient to the national side.

Just wanted to add my congratulations. A very tough game and you had harldy any ball or field position in 2nd half but proved you could soak up pressure and then counter-attack in the best Aussie style. Worthy world champs and a good advert for SL standards at the top end.

Strange but I thought we might have had a few Bradford and Huddersfield fans on here sending their congratulations.

Maybe they were watching Coronation Street.
