My abiding memory of our victory in the 2010 playoff at Wigan is not a happy one despite the result. It is of a stricken Mcquire laying seriously injured and Wigan players bent over him spouting bile in his face. I cannot feel sympathy towards any person that reacts to another human being in this manner now the tables are turned. Maybe now Leuluai will have plenty of time on his hands to reflect on his unnacceptable behaviour in 2010. If there are such things as "Rugby Gods" they may now be entering the name of Ben Westwood and a Warrington address into there Satnav.

Exactly the rugby gods comment was disgusting if a football commentator had made it he would got the sack, nobody in there right mind wants to see players injured

Let it go! It's been pathetic for a while now.

No player in any team in any sport 'deserves' to get injured. Why do all of the Leeds fans blame Wigan for the ridiculous comments made by Phil Clarke? Perhaps we should all go onto the Dewsbury board each time Stevo the clown opens his mouth with his inevitable garbage?

They dont , Clarke will have to live with his comments alone .



Leeds fans do remember a large number of Wigan fans wishing career ending injury on their stand-off however .

Thankfully not one Leeds fan has wished the same on Tommy .

id rather play the pie munchers and win with them having no excuse in the semi final but the way they treat dan maguire was shameful but wouldnt wish harm to any player. injuries are part and parcel of ANY sport its a team game and the best team will win come on u rhinos shape up and play like we know u can

oww shut up. tommy went for a last ditch tackle not to break halls ribs and McGuire completely cheated by obstructing a player different situations and no rugby player deserves to be injured EVER.

You can't have it both ways. McGuire stopped a possible try by grabbing someones shirt. Tommy stopped a definite try by leading with his knees - both acts illegal and therefore cheating. I completely agree that no player deserves to get injured, and I really like Leuleuai (even though I can't spell his name) but don't dress it up as any different to Danny - it was a split second decision, done on instinct, both were against the laws of the game and both led to injuries. Some wigan fans are reaping what they sowed, for the rest, for Tommy and his team mates I have nothing but sympathy.

There were certainly more than a few Wigan fans who initially went off ranting about McGuire deserving to be injured, only to cool down a bit over the next couple of days - or perhaps seeing that their views were being roundly condemned by most fans from other clubs as well as some of their own? Sadly there will always be a minority who delight in this sort of thing, or are simply too immature to understand what it is they are actually saying.



In any event, I hope Leuluai recovers fully and as speedily as possible.
