No it wasn't, JJB (the culprit again) was penalised in the set before when Morley charged the ball up from the kick off after their try in the 38th minute.

Both decisions were absolutely correct.

For once I don't think Silverwood had a bad game.

Yes, there were mistakes from the officials, but still fewer than those made by the players of both sides.

The game flew by which was a testament to the officials & both sets of players.

It was a pleasure & an honour to be there.

i was sat next to an ex SL referee. he hammered silverwoods display. he pointed things out the fan wouldn't see and told me what he had done wrong and why. it was an interesting chat

Thought in general he had a decent game



Regarding sinny being knocked out I thought it was accidental. It was late and should have been penalised though

I thought he had a good game to be fair.



And Monaghan on Sinfield was just unfortunately late, no intent there.

The Monaghan on Sinfield incident is one of my bugbears. Monaghan was 'committed' but could also have easily pulled out, he wasnt ever going to get the ball so he just threw himself at Sinfield from miles away so that he could defend himself as 'committed', Monaghan's aim there wasnt to get the ball or block the kick but to get a hit on Sinfield after the ball had been kicked, but commit early enough to it to get away with it. Frankly its pointless, adds nothing to the game, and could be quite easily penalised out of the game. But it hasnt been so it would be unfair to punish Monaghan for something that has been left unpunished all season.

Just watching the beeb highlights - Jonathan Davies is hilarious, bangs on and on about a great "ball steal" by Myler on Zac then they show the replay...Myler leads with elbow to the jaw..."oh, that's a penalty, should be no try"

Myler got his when bailey went in late in the last minute.

How Silverwood managed to call the Sinfield pass to Hall forward was bizarre. Even Child appeared to think it was legal.
