The video of the Scilly punch really shows how rose tinted memories could be.
If you listened to the fans it was a massive knockout punch. Whilst there were some decent punches, bailey was still on his feet after three unanswered efforts.

Wither Sonny Nickle?
Bailey was a WUM, which was in part his function as it just drove opposition players to distraction and generated penalties for Leeds. Not a glorious role, but one he was effective in.
Nickle was just downright dirty, as the remains of Robbie Mears' jaw will attest. |
