| The whole situation is a bit funny to me. I think there's more to it than it looks. Why would there be a contract on the table from Leeds and presumably salary cap space allocated if Leeds weren't that fussed.

| Quote West Leeds Rhino="West Leeds Rhino"I think all three are better than Amor. Amor has had a few good games, but he's got a long way to go before he would be starting for Leeds every week.
I think some people are trying to pin a poor season on poor recruitment and the only player that half fits this theory is Amor, and of course then there's just Nantwichexile....'"
Griffin is a bone idle lazy prop I do not see how he gets a game at Leeds over Richard Moore who is also average Bailey is a complete liability and Peacock and Leuluai are past their best
Amor is young and will become a far better player than most of the above maybe better than Peacock admitted he as a way to go but age is on his side

| Quote rhinogonemad="rhinogonemad"AMOR is comfortable at wakey, and appears not up for a challenge at the rhinos, he knows barring a massive form loss he is a certain in the seventeen each week, but imo it tells you about a players metality and toughness to pass by playing with a top club, shows a distinct lack of confidence in your own ability.
Good luck to the lad but for me a big opportunity passed up by kyle.'"
Or maybe Leeds have d!cked him around for two years and he recognises that he's improved massively at Wakefield in an environment where he's happier than he's ever been before?

| He's average and is obviously happy being an average fish in an average pond. Signing for Wakefield means he's given up any chance of ever winning anything other than man of the match in his career.
He couldnt get a game in an average Leeds front row so obviously isnt that good.
No loss at all IMO.

Apart from the fact that he was a 21/22 year old just stepping up from Championship rugby with Whitehaven, where was Jamie Peacock at 21 years old?
The way Wakefield are going they very well may be challenging for things over the next few years

| Quote G1="G1"You make me ashamed to be a Leeds fan.
He makes a good point about Peacock being a very late bloomer. Also, you might want to take not but not everyone who plays for Leeds is the best player in the league and not everyone who plays for other clubs is poop,'"
Had Peacock even made his first grade SL debut for Bradford at 21 or 22 years of age? I'm not sure he had. Think he spent some time on loan at Fev during his younger days and then buggered off to play in a local Wollongong-based RL competition after Matt Elliott told him he wasn't good enough and needed to learn some basics.

| Ok - has no-one considered what could be a massive contributing factor to Amor's decision to stay at Wakey.
How much ££ was on the table from both clubs?

| Kyle Amor is 25 years 4 months old
at 25 years 4 months JP was starting in a Bradford side that in 2001 were champions, and in 2002 had won the WCC, lost the LLS on points difference, and lost the GF by one point. The Bradford team he was part of went on to win the Championship & the Challenge Cup in 2003.
Kyle Amor is playing at a mid-table SL side (at best)
JP was playing in one of the top two sides in SL, and already had a clutch of medals.
JP was the better prop when he was 25, and at 34, he's still the better prop.
