At risk of upsetting a few on here, I have to say the Southstand always looks best when viewed from my seat near the middle of the North Stand.



Seriously though it looked great yeasterday, now that it's fully open again and with it's new Tetley's paintwork.

I wasn't keen on the new branding. I know that's what it is but to me it looked like they'd just pulled it out of storage from the 90s and stuck it on. Does it say "Southstand" in the middle?

If it does, I didn't register it.

It has the old 90's oval logo repeated all the way along. A bit retro maybe but I quite like it.

And tetleys is now brewed in the same building as Newcastle brown ale. 2 minutes from my house

Glad to see it fully opened, but to me the yellow lines get wider every year.

But... but... that would pee on the chips of a very serious viewpoint about Tets being brewed "Darn sarf!"

tetleys drays are coming out of tadcaster all day

Tetleys cask is now brewed under licence by Marstons at Wolverhampton. If they brewed it in Tadcaster they wouldn't have dropped 'brewed in Yorkshire' from all their POS when they rebranded.

Thats what someone I know told me when they gave him his pension from the labs at Tetleys last summer, however the bald one has close links with John Smiths so if he said its being brewed in Tad then its being brewed in Tad, wouldn't surprise me at all given that mass brewing is nothing at all to do with the beer these days.

i work at sam smiths but its next door. i say work, i just turn up.



to be fair sams used to bottle and cask for federation brewery. it was brewed in the north east, brought down in tankers, and bottled and put into casks at sams. same thing could happen with tetleys
