| Quote Frosties.="Frosties."John Bateman could be available for 200k according to todays Daily Express, as Bradford may need to sell him to raise the rest of the £1m.'"
If it comes to the crunch with Bradford, for another 500k and the rest to stay in business, then it will be a Leeds United style fire sale.

| Quote Charlie Sheen="Charlie Sheen"If we had to sell him I'd expect no more than 50k for an 18 year old prospect, I can't see anyone willing to pay 200k for an 18 year old.'"
I could easily see Warrington paying that for Bateman, especially if Wigan join the bidding. The kid is a real talent.
In a weird way, it's a seller's market for the Bulls with Bateman. They have one of the games best young players but £50k won't make much difference to their plight so they may as well hold on. £200k on the other hand will make them think hard.

He is, I don't disagree I just think 200k for an 18 year old, who is relatively unproven is a bit OTT. I'm not saying we shouldn't be interested. I'd certainly consider swapping him for Clarkson with a bit of cash.

An outstanding set of financials for a sporting club in tough economic times.
A few of the unfounded conspiracies can be crossed off then ....

What's left? Or is it time to make up some new ones.
The club is in safe and astute hands, and it appears that an announcement on Monday will confirm they have run out of patience with the 15 a side mob.

That seems to be Sal and Gotchas's philosophy. Predict doom and gloom every year and eventually it will come right,

Think you are right regarding the above, however there is a flip side, don't know what's happening at Bradford (don't think anyone does) but if administration is looming it might not be a sellers market anymore and the vultures will circle and pick off the bones of the bulls for very little

Looks like we will have to wait another couple of weeks on the Rugby Union side, but you could speculate based on this:

Quote Gary Hetherington on Radio Leeds="Gary Hetherington on Radio Leeds"“We are going to put the microscope on every part of the rugby operation……but also there are other aspects of the club as well …… the future of the club going forward and the relationships that we might be able to develop with other clubs in the region
What I want to be able to do in a couple of weeks’ time, is engage with our stakeholders and give a very clear plan of what we are trying to do and where we are trying to go and I think we will be in a position to unfold all that and unveil it all in the next two weeks.
Relegation was traumatic, we are weaker than we were …”'"
Elsewhere, interesting to see David Conn's view on Rugby League from the outside. Surprisingly positive?
