He did do ok, certainly not one of our worst performers, and tightened things up. That doesn't however change the view of a pointless signing. There was no need for it.

I think the club just looked at the fixture list and thought that theres no way we will get through the season without needing more bodies to play second row.

don't think anything has been decided yet. I think he deserves a contract, maybe just for a year and let the young lads develop a bit further.
