Without a doubt he does deserve it.
I have been critical of some of his performances this season with increasing major concerns about his lack of pace...BUT on with performances like this one who bluddy cares
His kicking game was fundamental in achieving victory.

| It's been nice to see Sinfield getting some praise of fans of other teams, doesn't happen too often especially after getting the 6 shirt for England (some would have you think he's single handedly resposible for any England defeat when he's playing at 6). He's not the most naturally talented 6 ever we know, but he wins games and MOM awards through thinking and tactics and leadership and a cool head, for me that's just as impressive as natural athletic talent.

Today is not your lucky day, this is the first time in a week that I've logged on with this account only to find you trolling on two different threads, so in the spirit of the Wigan mods - take a break.

| Hate to agree, but sinfield has been the best positional kicker in sl for the past 5 years at least, he may be losing pace but the kicks more than make up for it.
Further question will it be pay on the gate for the derby clash, can't get through to the bulls ticket office and I can't ring them whilst I'm in work never get any signal

| For a man as old as I am, who has had the privellege of watching some RL greats since 1978 I think I must now concede the admired captain Leeds of my youth (David Ward) has been surpassed. I somehow doubt it will happen again.
I salute you Kevin. The epitome of what a true sportsman should be.

| Must be sickening for a fullback when Kev puts in one of those kicks that just rolls over your try line. You then have to run back thirty to forty yards pick up the ball and try to clear your line. Then you look up and see a line of blue jerseys waiting to hammer you into the ground. Priceless .

Kev and Wardy are both our two greatest captains.I remember Wardy coming back as Hunslet coach and ashe walked down the north stand touchline he had tears in his eyes at the reception he got.Kevin Sinfield will be held in the same esteem as David long after he finishes
