I'd be happy if BodeneThompson got 1 year for next season he brings experience and hard graft to our pack and with losing Cuthbertson we have 2 spare overseas spots so could still go into market for another world class overseas player if they become available to us.

He's surpassed expectations, but I'd only sign him if nobody better is available.

Not for me , we have grafters we have experience we need bigger impact a line breaking Prop if we're going after another BR then an off loading type. We need to utilise our overseas spots on quality.

Would he actually be on the quota given that Toronto effectively went bust? For what it's worth I like him. Competent in all aspects and if you have 17 of those you are hard to beat.

Happy for him to stay for 1 more season (definitely not 2).Also, whilst he has proven to be a decent signing I hope we dont throw too much money at him.

He's put some big efforts in for sure, but for me it depends on the bigger picture of the squad improvements for next season. If our main big money additions are going to be British (assuming there are any big signings!), then he might not be a bad idea to hang on to. But if we want a big antipodean forward I'd hope we can find someone better than Bodene. As has been mentioned on the thread already, the quota spots need to be used effectively.

Also isn’t he only off the overseas list because of the Toronto situation for this season? Imagine taking up a spot for that level of player.
