No I am not saying that the coaches job is not important. I am saying that the evidence on the field is of some players playing well with structure while others are clearly past it physically and mentally and not able to maintain any structure or game plan for the full 80. To ignore this and put it all down to the coach is to miss the crucial problem we have.



I too am not happy with McD or his strange selections but I do think a change of coach will not solve the problems of a squad that is now 5th best in SL and hampered with 2 of its best players not fully fit yet.

I got some stick off you and others at start of last season and more so on the announcement of the "magnificent seven" for stating what would happen this season, and been =#FF0000proved exactly spot on correct right now. How is that when McDermott wasn't even announced as assistant coach at that point, let alone head coach?
