Just watched the JJB tackle again and in my opinion there was absolutely nothing Tomkins could do once he had made the tackle. There is no second push as Smokey has claimed, McIllorum quickly pushes JJB backwards trapping Tomkins under JJB. If McIllorum was aware of what he was doing then HE is the one who should be on the end of criticism. Lockers tries to lift MM off JJB but it almost looks like he doesn't want to get up! Tomkins did absolutely nothing wrong.

there clearly is a second effort on the shot from behind. It is clear.
im not sure why Wigan fans are so keen to find a none existent offence from one of their other players to try and protect Tomkins from criticism. Its a bit strange. |
