I'd rather see broadbent given an opportunity in his natural position. Teams on a hiding to nothing with that half combination behind a pack that will struggle.

To be fair Seth he was playing at 6 before Covid.

Marty do you see Broadbent as a potential 6? Out and out centre for me but he does have decent hands.

I see him as a centre but club clearly want to change him into a 6 so they cant see him as a centre. Hes a good footballer.

I'm not sure playing McClelland in these types of games is beneficial. His confidence will be shot to pieces



Tindall is like the wing version of Dwyer. Like a headless chicken.

This for me is negligent, not developing players. Especially in the context. I'd not be pointing the finger at any of them after that half, they've been hung out to dry.

Difficult for the kids but a great learning experience. This is the benchmark lads. This is the standard you have to reach.



Was always going to be a tough game this.

You cant be picking out individuals for criticism here. McClelland has got no platform playing as pretty much a lone half and saints are flying out and hitting everything.

I think they’ve been told to have a go, but Tindall needs to sort his D out.

Bright light is Tom Holroyd so far. Really put himself about and our best player for me.

Alex Sutcliffe has been impressive as has Donaldson, not sure theirs too much you can take out of these games ither than the younger players will learn from playing against the best.



Tindall doesn’t look quite as ready as I thought he was, that interception attempt was ridiculous and he quite rightly got a rollocking from Mclelland

I don’t think anyone will be pointing the finger.



Teams that have played in the Challenge Cup very rarely win the week after, I think the thinking here is give the senior players a rest so they ate fresher gor the more winnable games.
