What really bugs me about this is that nothing is done at the time. If it is worth a ban let alone a 2 game ban Shurley he should be sin binned/sent off there and then?
Think the ban (although technically correct) is ridiculous. How is it as bad as punching /taking someone's head off? Need to get a grip

It's entirely appropriate and very much in line with penalties levied over the past few years.
Leeds fans whinging, yet again, when our players do stupid things is really getting tedious. |

Gale is the one who needs to get a grip.You don't go around pushing a referee with 2 hands.
If players get away with it the referee loses authority with the players.
We don't want to end up like football where the players treat the refs with no respect and mouth off to them all the time. |

Feels like plenty of posters are expecting him to be leaving Leeds, certainly the standard "he was never that good anyway" attitude that former players often get is building momentum.

Think I should clarify that I agree it is the correct punishment based on previous incidents. And I'd have the same feelings of it were any team not just Leeds.
Gale didn't go to push the ref. There's a huge difference between mouthing off and this. |
