Brad Singleton put in a real enforcer performance, some big shots that put spoke Wigan players in their shell, although he does seem to play a little close to the edge (too much advice from Barrie Mac I expect

)



Also Keinhorst came up with a few defensive plays that probably saved tries, he always seems to be the first player tracking back if a break is made and for me should be playing (possibly starting) even when all are fit

The RFL are spineless, the MRP is a laughing stock and no doubt some one eyed pie eater will be on your case to defend it. Saying that though, Ablett was treading a fine line.

Segeyaro was fantastic, as were Ablett, Hall, Burrow and Watkins. The team had structure a pattern of play and were organised in defence. Even if they had lost at the end it was still a genuine performance. Structure and cohesion is so underrated. How much better did Watkins look defending as a centre - solid 1-1 hits and took his one chance in a tight match superbly.

In reality, Wigan had 9 first teamers out and have misfired badly on attack all season, but they have still been extremely difficult to beat. I don't know how Leeds have managed to dig a huge psychological pit of despair to live in since February but it seems some of the lads have decided they've had enough and have brought some positivity to the party.

Better late than never, but if it saves Mac's job then it will all be for nothing.

In game I liked what Lilley is doing. I watched the highlights on the club sites and Lilley has 3 involvements in the build up to Watkins try. His last involvement puts Watkins into the gap. All 3 touches are quality. I bagged him early doors but as time has gone on I love what I see.



Great kid with loads of potential.

Lilley is far from the finished article but he has two great traits. He has lots of confidence in himself, almost a swagger about him for one so young and isn't afraid of trying things or the failure that may bring. The plenty of game time and the testing circumstances of this year should stand him in good stead for the future.

JJB 43 and Segeyaro 40 tackles. Watkins back to form and big game from Ablett with pack solid except Achurch. Both half backs involved giving more options on attack and sound defense.

He was poor against Hull, but really stepped up last night. Hope we keep giving him the game time

Lilley will have poor games, like everyone else. As a youngster probably a few more. But he's playing in a pressure position and will surely be getting lots of feedback and backing from the people behind the scenes. Just a shame some people like to write youngsters off if they don't tear it up week after week
