Whats your thoughts on him gents. Think he'll impress enough to get a chance in the 1st team?

| I thought he was decent. Was in the mould of Ryan Hall (but nowhere near his standard)
He showed potential. No idea what three or four years playing Union has done to him. A few months playing Union appears to have ruined Lee Smith.

| Strong, direct runner. Not the greatest with his handling under pressure and a bit sketchy defensively is my immediate memory.
Could be my old mind playing tricks, but didn't he have a go in the second row as well while he was at Leeds?

| Yeah he did AG iirc it was a couple of runs out there.
At still only 24 i'd say you can't do any harm in looking and i'll echo G1 and AG in terms of rating his efforts for Leeds.

I'm going to try and fill TVOCs shoes. His last Leeds outing was in the 2nd row (perhaps from the bench mind) in the 2008 Easter victory over the Bulls 44-2.

| He was never that impressive at Newcastle, but he's probably better than his replacement there, a certain Mr Ricky Sherriffe.

| He always looked to be a raw boned player to me, one who was well down the pecking order at our club, hence his release to Rugger
He was a very strong runner and also a good finisher but i don't think his all round game was worthy of a SL contract at our club
I'd also be very surprised if he is retained after his trial at HKR
IMO he will be unveiled as a coup signing at a Hunslet,Batley or Dewsbury club in the near future

| Funnily enough I googled him last week to see where he was now. All I could find was that he still played at Newcastle but not regularly. Good to have him back though. He had a lot of potential and I'm sure he will do well at KR

He seemed to get. A bit of first team games in his first season but the last few years I have kept a eye out whenever they are on tv but not seen him all year

I imagine tvoc would be a little disappointed with that effort overall. Although I think I can see what you've done there. Ryan Hall can have that effect on some people.

Danny Williams scored 12 tries in his Leeds career which consisted of 18 appearances including 3 from the bench.
Barely featured at Leeds after his debut season in 2006 (only adding the 3 from the bench in 200icon_cool.gif so it would be pretty difficult to judge where he's at right now. Although obviously he'll still be a better option than Willie Mason.

I can't recall where he played off the bench in that (his 18th and final) Leeds appearance but he provided a game changing cover tackle on Adam Fletcher forcing him into the corner flag and preventing Castleford going 14 points clear (without the kick) before Leeds had opened their account for the afternoon.

Willie Mason is now earning £350k per year at Toulon about the same wages as Peacock, Maguire and Sinfield added together.
Good luck to the man I don't know why everyone keeps wanting to have a pop at him.
