Did he? I'm not sure. I think he was just more obvious to everyone because of the position he was playing. Wheeler was terrific in defence, as ever, and Lomax worked hard. All the kids did great stuff tonight, really stepped up to the mark. I hope Potter is proud of them coz he should be!

Wheeler was sensational at the quiet, unnoticed stuff. His work to prevent Johnson's try was amazing.

That seems to me to be what Wheeler is about. He slips in under the radar all the time but he really makes his presence felt, and he's consistent with it, which is a real bonus. I hope his injury isn't a bad one.

That break showed some real class, too.



Carney did well to track Meli all the way, otherwise a certain try.

I thought eastmond, wheeler and lomax was top class today.



Eastmond IMO was the difference with him setting up 3 and getting 1.



Wheeler was his normal self. Good on ball and good defence even though Johnson gave him few problems when he came on.



I was very very impressed with lomax. He gave us pace from play the ball and his defence was very good.

Lomax did nothing bar take a few runs in late on. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

he is a great prospect, as for wheeler, if at 19 you only have a few problems with a seasoned superleague player, you're doing very well!

he did! If we'd won 80-0 saddened would be complaining!

He did, and I think the point Saddened was making was that, while doing well, he didn't do a lot to be 'very, very impressed' about.
