Things are not looking very hopeful just now and if the injury situation and all the impact it is having on individual and team performance continues for much longer, I can see us beginning to struggle.



Let's hope the possibles Royce lists become definites before the Hudds match as this would be a great opportunity to get two points ahead of one of our present main rivals.

Can somebody list these 15 players out please.

13 off the top of my head to play at 1/6/7 in 2011 would be: Wellens/Eastmond/Roby/Wilkin/Ashe/Moore/Wheeler/Lomax/Foster/Armstrong/Gaskell/Makinson/Pryce (in pre-season).

He will include some players having played in more than one position and he does include forced changes during games when we have had 2 and 3 limped off, there have been at least 13 different players used across the 3 positions... someone may be able to name more



Off the top of my head this season we have used:



1. Wellens, Makinson, Armstrong, Ashe, Foster, Lomax

6. Pryce, Gaskell, Wheeler, Wilkin, Moore, Wellens

7. Eastmond, Lomax, Roby



I think Royce is alluding more to the disruption this has caused to our continuity in attack etc. in that we have had 7 different starting half back combinations in 14 games (listed below), on top of which we have had to change these due to in game injuries in at least 6 of these matches.

Wheeler Lomax

Wilkin Lomax

Eastmond Wilkin

Pryce did start in Catalan so he technically played in the league, if only for 4 mins!!

Maybe some of the injuries are caused by the way some teams are tackling opponents.

i dont think so, i think the players dont have the correct conditioning, you only have to look at the relatively low injury rate at warrington, with a much older team to see what can be done

You forgot the Various - Moore variation!

That list was just literally the starting combinations from the match reports, there would be at least 4 or 5 other combinations that we have had to use through injuries occuring in games.



Having all that disruption to the half backs, not including injuries to forwards (Perry, Clough, Wilkin, Flannery Soliola have all missed at least 3 matches) in just 14 games shows fantastic resolve from the squad to get ourselves level on points at the top, should we ever get everyone fit we'll take some beating!
