Looking very very bleak at the moment... no cash, low crowds, no coach, losing their better English players and having to be shored up by the RFL again.
It would be a shame after all the outreach work and vastly improving academy but we can't keep throwing good money after bad without some return from London itself.

Lenegan was given two years to sell his share of the club. Sadly there have been no takers. I hope they don't go to the wall, but with the departure of McDermott, LMS, Sharp, Orr etc it doesn't look good for them or RL. No doubt the flat cappers will be happy. |

The club do have a habit of attracting deserting rats, Robinson, Uncle Mo, DW just to name a few, how much did the present owner know of whats going on now at Quins!!! |

The RFL should have never let Mr. Leneghan buy WIGAN until he had sold his majority in quins even if it would have meant that quins went bust at that stage.
Ive been fully supportive of Quins inclusion but for all the pros of having a pro club in London in terms of player development, I don't believe that the harlequins franchise does its job as a promotional tool and growing the fan base.
The london franchise is a massive opportunity but will anyone ever be able to make it work?

Here's a well thought out and reasoned reply from the Quins board, something that you seem incapable of.

1) We have never had any financial assistance of the RFL
2) Superleague was expanded to 14 teams to facilitate geographical expansion, without expansion it would proabably be ten teams
3) The negotiable sky money would probably drop by a larger fraction than 1/14th fo every expansion team you lost so northern superleague teams would have their incomes reduced and their reaction would probably be to try and shrink the number of teams in the competition to maintain income.
4) Quins are in a double bind that our majority share holder is not allowed to put money in the club and our minority share holder is retiring and cannot maintain his great support for the club.
5) Please return to your own message boards and start lobbying for the RFL to take over majority share holding and taking on the losses or you will never have a chance of getting/keeping a superleague place.
