I think we should make the London game our youth round. Well, it worked in 2011 so maybe it will work next weekend?

It will take a lot of shuffling to get a team together.



Makinson should stay at #1 and Jones will probably move back to centre with either Turner or Percival moving to the wing.



Big question is who you play in the halves? Ashe/Charnock get called up (hope nobody says Swift) I reckon with Hohaia moving back to the halves. Howarth moves back to hooker.

I think Gardner should plead not guilty, his was more a collison with the shoulder that was difficult to pull out from than an actual premedated shoulder charge.

To a certain extent we are falling foul of the match being on TV, we will probably see more of the Gardner type tackle not on TV that will go through un reported.

I know his ban will be irrelevant given his injury, but as a matter of principle I feel a 4 game ban would be slightly harsh. Yes it looked horrible on TV and it was a nasty collision, but there was no intent. Anyone who understands the game can see that. It was clumsy and instinctive.

If a player gets injured during an illegal hit from an opponent can be replaced and that change doesn't count against the 12 replacements available during the game.



As this is the case I've always considered that if a player is injured making an illegal hit and that player receives a suspension, then any suspension received should not be served until that player is fully fit and available for selection. Only fair really.
