Everyone is slagging the ref off for reasons I do not know. Look at his position on the disallowed goal. He was in an excellent position to give a decision. A he had the best view in the whole stadium.

They're slagging him off because they wanted us out the cup ...



If he'd of hit it (on any number of his attempts) smack in the middle, he wouldn't of left room for doubt. Huddersfield still let us march 60 metres up field for our own drop goal.

Correct. The ref was right under the left post. Great positioning

Not a goal from where I sat bang in line.

The referee handled it well. It went over the left post but was slicing away to the left. If he'd handed it to the video ref it would have been just as much of a farce as the video ref had absolutely nothing conclusive to go off. On one angle it looked okay, but that angle was dead centre and it would be impossible to judge.



Only way they'll find out if it did go over the post is to do some analysis work on the footage.



Brough of course could have executed it properly like Luke Walsh did.

How can in line with the post be over. If it was lower and hits the post it may not go over.

Can just tell this is going to turn into another joynt voluntary tackle thing <sigh>

In the car on way home now. I thought it went over on first sight but that was mainly due to the reaction of Brough

Luke Walsh said it went over and when NB was asked post game he did not answer just smiled and said, " lady luck shined on us".
