May sound like an obvious question but is it possible to buy season tickets for the new stadium without committing to a season ticket at Widnes for next year?

No; They are trying to get the season ticket holders on board by offering the best seats to those who will commit to the stobart stadium.

If the season ticket holder doesn't take up the option then its whatever (poorer seats) are left.

There may be another option of the south stand non corporate to go on sale - perhpas at the end of the season?

My seat will be leather with my name embossed in gold leaf on the seat back. It will also have a cup holder and an intercom to the catering biaches.

Its likely to be a smart card at the new ground . On that basis as long as the payment is made does it really matter who uses the pass ?

Surprising not! I asked about this given the whole livesmart being sponsors thing and apparently its just to be semi-automated turnstiles

The option to convert them will be there for the future though.

Just got our family ticket for the west stand...........we always stand on the popular side at the moment and will miss the side on view and the friends we have there but I believe all of the atmosphere will be pulsated from behind the sticks going forward in the new stadium (new popular side), it should be called "wide to west" stand!!

It worked well at Wigan's ground and also Warrington this season for getting the crowd going so I am hoping it will at our new kingdom also.....
