I think they played another game there first.
IIRC there has to be a game played at 60% capacity to check the systems. |

| I reckon it will be the next instalment of the "Karalius Cup" against Widnes as a bit of a thank you to them for letting us rule their place for a season.........
Also a good chance to welcome them to the Superleague.......
Also a good chance to win a trophy early in the season to put in the new Trophy room   ...........Mind you hopefully we will have a couple of trophies to put in their from this season.....  |

I don't think so. I think you'll find that the soccer team will be playing. But I doubt it will be for free this time! I think them using the stadium helps us to obtain Sport England money or something. |

Don't think rogues. I was out on the p*ss with one of their volunteer fundraisers tonight and he confirmed first game at the HJ was vs Wakey - no warms ups or friendlies etc - at least not in front of any crowd. |

Warrington never had a friendly before the first match against Wakefield. They had an "open" day event when they did the "safty tests".
I know Warrington specifically asked for a team with a small travelling support so that they could get as many home fans in for the first game. It was an all-ticket sell-out.

MM will be first game of 2012 in Cardiff so you lot will face Wigan then. I think Wire would be the best choice to get the stadium full, only problem is you may lose! So i would say play Widnes!!!!

Nah we've had that blue moon.
I wouldn't mind Cas,last league game at K.R first league game at Halo Stadium.
One thing for sure there wont be any w@nky fans on here next year wanting to compare attendances, |
