Wellens is that good you picked him twice?

Why on earth are people still picking Wellens at fullback? What is wrong with you? Why have you not been listening to me? I thought I had completed that mission and could move on, but it seems a few stragglers haven't evolved and are stuck in 2005.

Would you rather he plays on the wing?



If Hohaia is back in the team on Sunday then I can't see Wello playing anywhere other than fullback, with Makinson on the wing to cover Gardner's spot.

I'd much rather he didn't play at all. I don't see what's different to last week.

I expect Brown will play Wello at full back, and Makinson on the wing though, which is a bad move IMO - especially with Dobson's long kicking game.



Big game for us this - huge vocal effort needed.

Two fullbacks eh. It's a very bold move, but it just might work you know. I wonder if anyone has tried that before.

you may be right, but it's folly IMO.

Swift has proved himself capable in the back 3 (some reckon he's got more potential than Tom) and he could also use jones in the centre t push Turner or Percy onto the wing. All better ideas IMO.

Dobson's back for KR, Burns suspended.

It's plain for all sane people to see that the ship has well and truly sailed as far as Wellens at full back is concerned.



There is absolutely no logic behind him going back there. It would be a massive step backwards. We have ample cover in the backline with Makinson, Swift, Turner, Percival and Meli. Wellens is behind all those players now in an attacking sense. If Nathan Brown has the ambition and bravery that I think he has, then Wellens will play in the pack tomorrow. And that's only because Manu and TP are missing,otherwise he'd be running on with the kicking tee. Sad but true.

I have to agree, I wouldn't go as far as running on with the tee, but his time in the backs should be well and truly over.
