Any and all players get injuries, and he wasnt injured when we signed him.
What i am a bit concerned about is our medical/physio team. I dont know if the personel have changed massively since '05 and '06 seasons, but we do seem to pick up more injuries than we used to, and they seem to last for a lot longer too.

| The increased injuries are probably just a result of the ever increasing speed of the game. The entire game is played in a very crash-ball style. I watched a Warrington junior side being coached last night and it was all one out diagonal sprints into the defensive line, followed by a cut out pass to someone at a different angle late in the set. There were two or three contact injuries in that hour's training alone and they weren't even doing proper tackling, just stopping the ball carrier.

Perhaps its just me perceiving that we get more injuries than other clubs?

He got injured at the World Cup. We didn't sign an injured player. Sorry to spoil your negativity.

I think everyone's more aware of injuries in their own ranks compared to everyone else.
There's a reason more and more clubs are announcing squad numbers into the mid 30s (much more then used to)

Nah other clubs get them just as bad as us. We was playing rubbish so it stands out more. If we'd been winning while we had injuries nobody would mention it.
The game is so physical now and the players are big, lean and agile I think they tend to pick up more injuries. Years a go we had big 17st fat guys plodding into the defensive like, now we have big 17st fit mobile guys smashing into the line at pace.

| Tommy martyn, Sean long, KC, newlove, scully all suffered badly with injuries. Hohaia seems to be immune. Who would you rather have?

| Patience will be a big thing with Masoe. Taking his injury into account, my prediction is that we will be looking at March/April before we really start to see the best of him. We all know about the potential issues regarding his size. For a player like Masoe to miss out on a pre-season will naturally take it's tole. I can't wait to see him play and I have no doubts that he will be a major hit at this club, but it may take a while.
Wth the attention focused on Masoe and Amor up front, Alex Walmsley appears to have been someone overlooked. It goes without saying how influential he was; influential in a season that was considered to be a transitional period for him initially. With a full year of experience under his belt, along with a full pre-season, I see no reason why he won't continue to push forward and develop if he can stay injury free.
